We need your help! The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy is seeking your support to continue our core child advocacy center (CAC) services; this includes all of our free, trauma-focused programs serving vulnerable children and families – Forensics, Child & Family Advocacy, and Therapy.
Our largest federal grant through the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) has been drastically reduced by 61%. It is imperative that we secure $2,000,000 over the next three years so that we can provide victimized children a voice. Funds will help us respond to the critical needs of over 900 child victims and families each year through the following actions: conduct a forensic interview; deliver wraparound services to stabilize the family and keep the child safe; and provide free therapy to heal from trauma. The reality we are facing is that without increased funding, we will be forced to cut services and turn away families in crisis. We hope that we can count on you so that no family has to be put on a waiting list or turned away during a time when they need us the most.
Thank you for your commitment to Keeping Kids Safe.
